The Idea Behind the Marathon Tight

The Men’s Marathon Tight came from a simple realisation: most long-distance race gear still assumes you’ll outsource your storage.

Belts bounce. Vests overheat. Handhelds change your mechanics. For marathon and half marathon racing, we wanted a solution that lived on the body, moved with the body, and disappeared once the race started. This piece was designed as a self-contained system, compression, stability, and enough storage to get you through long road events without thinking twice about fuel.

Bogota Fabric: Compression That Doesn’t Quit

The foundation of the Marathon Tight is Bogota, a 210gsm compressive interlock fabric made from 74% polyester and 26% lycra. This fabric was chosen for one reason: it doesn’t move unless you do.

Bogota provides firm, consistent compression that supports the muscles over long durations without softening or bagging out. It hugs the body, holds its shape, and keeps everything exactly where it should be.

Storage as a Performance Tool

Storage isn’t an accessory here. It’s the reason this garment exists.

The Marathon Tight features:

• Two rear gel pockets, positioned high and close to the body

• Two side leg pockets, integrated directly into the pattern of each leg

The rear pockets are designed for easy access without breaking stride, ideal for gels or small nutrition items. The side leg pockets provide additional capacity and stability, spreading load evenly so nothing pulls or shifts mid-run.

The key detail is compression-assisted retention. Because the fabric itself is highly compressive, it works with the pocket construction to lock items in place.

Construction & Fit

The tight length is deliberate. Long enough to stabilise pockets and compression zones, short enough to stay fast and unrestrictive.

Seams are placed to avoid high-friction areas and to support the pocket architecture rather than fight it. The waistband is secure without being aggressive, designed to hold shape even when fully loaded.
